Death and Earthly Graduation

Beyond the Veil: A Clairvoyant’s Conversation with Death

April 21, 20254 min read

Two weeks ago, my father transitioned from this world. As a clairvoyant, I’ve been given the unique lens to witness transitions not only through physical care, but through spiritual sight. This blog isn’t meant to prove anything or tell anyone how to grieve. It’s simply a heart offering—an invitation to consider what else might be happening as a soul prepares to cross.

The Gathering at the River

Months before my dad passed, I began to see them. His mother—my grandmother—was the first to arrive in spirit, smiling and radiant. Then his brother came. Then old friends. Even former employees from the family grocery store. I saw them all gathered on the other side of a great river—the place where souls return home. It reminded me of graduation: a joyful crowd waiting, not rushing, simply ready.

Though my dad led a quiet, steady life—faithful to routine, not particularly social—it became clear to me that his spirit had touched more lives than any of us realized. The celebration on the other side was larger than I ever would have imagined.

Between Two Worlds

My dad had dementia and had begun to live with one foot in each world. At times, he would see family members in the hallway or have full conversations with people we couldn’t see—because they were no longer here. At night, I would help him walk the halls and listen as he described confusion about parallel timelines and his desire to “go home.”

As a clairvoyant, I knew what was happening. His life review had begun. I saw that he wasn’t afraid—just bewildered by his shifting perception. So I brought humor and grounding where I could. I reminded him of who he was, where he was, and how loved he had always been. When he mentioned his old accounting work, I assured him the ledgers were balanced and he could rest.

When the Time Comes

On his final night at home, I could feel that things had escalated. Safety became a concern, so I called in his guide, grounded the house, and asked the angels to surround him. He was moved to a hospice care facility the next day and transitioned two days later. At one point, he said, “I’m not supposed to be here past 11:30,” and that ended up being the exact time he passed. He knew. His spirit already had the map.

Death as a Sacred Transformation

This isn’t the first soul I’ve watched pass. My dear friend Kathy—also a trained clairvoyant—passed just a month and a half ago. She walked toward death with grace and openness, saying her goodbyes and handing out keepsakes. She knew, as I do, that we never really die. We just change forms.

Spirits are always around us. They visit, communicate, and celebrate. We don’t need to fear death—we need to understand its layers. And for those of us who are sensitive or empathic, we may already be picking up on these shifts without fully realizing it.

A Global Soul's Graduation

Just days after my father passed, Pope Francis transitioned as well. Born Jorge Mario Bergoglio, he became the 266th Pope of the Roman Catholic Church in 2013—the first Jesuit, the first from the Americas, and the first non-European in over 1,200 years to hold the office. Known for his humility and devotion to justice, mercy, and reform, he embodied a spiritual evolution within the Church. His Jesuit roots carried a deep commitment to service, education, and spiritual discernment. Pope Francis’s passing felt like the close of a global spiritual chapter. For sensitives and seekers, it echoed through the collective field—calling us to reflect not just on the role of leadership, but on how the soul carries purpose through every stage, including its return home.

A Celebration of Spirit

Today, I celebrate my father’s graduation with full honors. In life, he was quiet and steady—but in spirit, I came to see just how big his energy truly was. The joyful gathering I witnessed across the veil revealed the depth of his kindness and the quiet impact he made on so many. His soul shone brighter than I ever realized.
